History of the Dorfcafe Unken
Who is behind the village cafe?
We, Michaela Hagn and Bernd Flatscher, took over the Dorfcafe from Bernd's parents in 2014. We are both very active in running the company, Michaela in service, office and reception, while Bernd is responsible for the kitchen and the outdoor areas.
Our biggest desire
The greatest gift for us is to see our guests happy and satisfied. Regardless of whether you spend a few hours in our tavern or several days in our hotel – we put everything behind the satisfaction of our guests!
The future
Our successor, Lukas Hagn, is currently still working as a chef elsewhere in order to take over the running of the Dorfcafe in a few years with new ideas and fresh momentum. Our daughter Lena, who is training to be a pastry chef in Salzburg, takes care of the sweet treats.
